Intense pulsed light technology is a treatment break through, that can correct a variety of benign, but distressing skin conditions. It offers a safe non-invasive solution that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type providing superior cosmetic results and outstanding satisfaction.
Skin complaints that can be treated include:
- Mild rosacea
- Photo ageing/severe sun damage, face, chest and hands
- Fine lines and poor complexions
- Open pores
- Thread veins and broken capillaries on the face and body
- Hyper-pigmentation - Excess blotchy colour on the skin for face, chest and hands
- Acne scarring
All IPL™ treatments must be preceded by a consultation and a medical questionnaire/consent sheet must be filled in before treatment can commence. IPL™ has an overall rejuvenating effect on the skin, clients see a remarkable result with just one treatment, but it may take up to 3 or 4 sessions to completely clear a problem.
Clients must not have a tan for IPL™ treatments, and it is also advisable to note down any medication that you are taking, as IPL™ is not recommended with medications that can make the skin photosensitive.
There is little or no 'downtime' with this treatment; you can resume your daily activities almost immediately. The face may look pink and feel hot for a while, but application of our recommended home-care will reduce this. A sunscreen of at least factor 30 should be used directly after treatment. Before during and after treatment photographs are kept on your file, with all IPL treatments.
